Stile is a work in the series Self Centred Objects, clandestine street furnishings that have been made or imagined for a London neighbourhood. The work enables commuters approaching the Waterloo bound platform from the South to access the platform  without having to walk to the gate which is sited at the North end of the platform. It cuts approximately one minute off the journey time.
